According to the report, to extend battery life, Apple introduced a 'Low Power Mode' setting in watchOS 9, which limits or disables certain features to last for around 14-15 hours during workouts. To get the 60-hour estimate, users need to enable both the 'Low Power Mode' and the 'Low GPS and Heart Rate Reading' setting. The new setting can be enabled by updating to watchOS9.1.
