Most Affordable Baja Bike Pulled Off
Bajaj Auto has discontinued its cheapest motorcycle CT100 in India. A few years back, the company introduced it with new features and colors and it turned out to be the cheapest bike in the company's bike line-up. The dealership has stopped taking bookings for the bike and the Bajaj CT100 has also been removed from the company's official website. Even the production of the bike has been stopped, which shows that the company has stopped selling this bike.
This bike can make a comeback
The company has not yet officially announced this information, although considering the demand of customers, Bajaj can bring this bike back to India. Now the only bike that the CT is selling in the line-up is the retro inspired CT 110X. This bike is very much liked in India due to its low price and strong mileage, whose ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 53,696. It is one of the cheapest bikes in India and can be driven up to 60-70 km in a liter of petrol.
Bike with strong features in low price
The Bajaj CT100 is powered by a 102 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 7.79 bhp power and 8.34 Nm peak torque. The company has given a 4-speed gearbox with this engine. The bike comes with 17-inch alloy wheels with telescopic forks at the front and dual SNS spring suspension at the rear. The company has provided drum brakes in both its wheels. This comfortable everyday-use motorcycle has been a favorite of the middle class in India, which competes with bikes like Hero Splendor Plus.
