 Advantages of cars with automatic transmission

 There is no need to change gears in a car with an automatic transmission as compared to a manual transmission.  If you are going on long drives then automatic transmission makes your driving experience better.  Because in this you do not need to change gears frequently, but automatic transmissions automatically change gears according to the need of the engine and the speed of the car.

 Automatic cars are easier to drive and handle than normal cars on bad roads or narrow lanes of cities.

 The special thing is that for those who are driving a car for the first time or are learning new car challans, automatic cars are better for them.  Broadly speaking, you can think of these cars as scooty because there is no need to focus on gears in scooty as compared to bikes.  Similarly, those learning to drive a new car will need to focus only on acceleration and braking instead of focusing on gears and gear-clutch adjustment.  Frequent clutch and gear change will get rid of it.  This will also make learning a car a little easier.

 The maintenance of an automatic transmission is a bit more expensive than a manual gearbox.  This thing is visible to you during service.

 You cannot increase or decrease the automatic gear as per your wish.  If you overtake you will have trouble.  Whereas in manual gearbox you can change gears as per your wish.  In fact, even after the upgrade, AMT gearboxes are a bit slow.  In AMT cars, you can change gears but you cannot match the speed of manual cars.  Therefore, you can use such cars only in a limited way.  However, unless absolutely necessary, overtake should also be avoided.

 Compared to automatic transmission and AMT, gear change takes less time and gear shifting is clearly visible, while at times a slight jolt is also felt.

 Although the mileage of AMT and manual gearbox is almost the same, but the vehicles which are fully automatic have more fuel consumption and this also affects the mileage.
